Harrassing a person that does not owe them money ripoff

We have just filed a police report against a Darrell Brown of the company GC Services out of Florida. He has called 7 times after we told him to stop calling us. It became a taunting game to him. He began saying "sounds like I'm starting to get to you", "your breathing kind of heavy-are you mad". Well, yes we are! We don't owe any money! It's our son who has not lived with us in 3 years that has a $3,000.00 collection. This Darrell Brown has spoken to my son on a nearly daily basis. Why he is calling us is outrageous. He thinks we should pay it? Or we should put pressure on our son? It just amazes me. He eveb told me that if he doesn't receive $3,000 immediately he was hauling my son to court. I told him go ahead, my son makes payments monthly and at least the judge would be more reasonable.

We tried calling the 800 number to his office and when they find out what the issue is we get routed to another line and hung up on. Then they won't answer the phone. So we had left 3 messages telling them to remove our number from their files.

I called the home office and ask who my son's real representative was because I was begininning to think this was someone not affiliated with the company. They told me "your son will have to call, we can not discuss his account with you". Oh, but they can call and harrass ME, and I can't call them! I got passed on and around. No one wanted to take a complaint. I wanted to file a formal complaint about one of their employees with a superviser. No one seemed to know who I should speak to.
Finally 6/22/06 I got just the right person and left a message that we filed a police report on them.

After filing the police report for harrasement and contacting the home office we received a call from the home office in San Antonio letting us know he would not be calling anymore.

Now, why did it take 3 weeks, 7 phone calls to us, numerous messages, 5 phone calls to them, and a police report to get it to stop.

And not once was I told anything was being recorded, and no beeps on the line-by the way.
