Could someone please help explain to me, this.

My husband and I bought a house in 1999. We are paying our notes every month. Southtrust makes a mistake and has it in the computer that we bought the house in 1985 (we were 15 years old in 1985) and in bankruptcy! When we went to Southtrust to have them fix it we were told they would not.

Then they started being ugly every time we went in so we closed our account with them. But now we are stuck with this crap on our credit reports and I am disputing them.

How can two people buy a house and manage to go into bankruptcy fresh out of middle school? Any advice how to deal with this would be greatly appreciated.

Also, southtrust is now wachovia. We believe it is the folks who we bought from.
