Aka "Bay Area Bussiness Counsil or BABC" Rip-Off! Very Deceptive and misleading company that promise a line of credit for hundreds of dollars but does not deliver!

This company gave me a call on my cell phone when I was out and about trying to make meeting. Kelli, who was on the other end of the phone ask how $2,000.00 00 line of credit on Master Charge with zero percent interest sounds to me.

I then ask her what was the catch? She told me that I would be charged a one time fee of $189.00 and then only $10.00 per a month there after. I told her that sounded good but told her to call me back at a better time when I could listen to all the details. But Kelli told me it would only take a few minutes to listen to a recording.

So I agreed for her to continue. Before she played the recording, I asked her if I was guranteed a line of credit of $2,000.00. She told me yes, and the only thing I needed to do was to the one time fee and $10.00 a month there after. So I listen to the recording that stated just as she stated it. The tricky phase on the tape was "pay as you go". However, Kelli promised me that the $2,000.00 credit line would be avalible right after her company recieved my payment.

She also told me to ignore the recording that stated that the credit card would take 4 to 6 weeks to be delivered to me because I was paying by a direct withdraw from my checking account and told me that I would get the credit card in just a few days.

The company recorded my voice agreeing to the tape conversation that Kelli had prep me for. And then later used the recording against me. I never did get a credit card.instead after 6 weeks of waiting I only recieved a other application for a crdit card that demanded a $15.00 dollar processing fee. And the Credit Card application was not a credit card application it was debit card application that you had to use your own money to make the card good for any purchases. When I called customer service they replayed the tape conversation that had me agreeing to. They pointed out that the tape stated that the Master Card would not have any credit until they recieved payments from me. I told them that Kelli explane to me that the $2,000.00 line of credit would be given to me after the first $10.00 dollar payment was received. The company response was that it was my word against Kelli and would not refund my money back.

Through my credit union I was able to retrieve $10.00 back and stop future payments. But because so many weeks had already relapsed they could not rertieve the rest of the money. So this company rip me off of over $200.00. I was desperate to get this credit line of cash. I had thousands of dollars of medical bills to be paid and I also needed to catch up on my car payments.instead I ened up $200.00 dollars more in the hole.

Also be aware that this company has droped off Florida in their name. The paper work I got identified the counrtry as "Bay Area Bussiness Counsell", BABC. I had to do some research to find that this was the same company.
