Ripoff, fraudulant credit card company, misrepresentation of services con artist fake ripoff

I wasa contacted by a representitive of the BABC. She informed me that I had been approved for a visa/mastercard with a $2000 credit limit. I was very excited because Ive been trying to get a card for awhile but am always denied due to insufficient credit history. The representitive explained the card and the fees. There was a $199.99 1 time only processing fee. She asked me for my bank account information. I asked her if this was a secure card. She said no its an unsecure card. I then gave her my account information. After that she played a really fuzzy recording to me. It said something about a $10 monthly fee. I had no problem with that because I am trying to establish credit. After the recording I once again asked her if this was a secure card. She stated no, it is an unsecure card. She gave me her name and ID # along with a toll free customer service #. I noticed today that $10 was removed from my account. I never agreed to anything stating they could automatically withdrawl my monthly fee from my account and I had not even recieved my card to be charged a monthly fee on yet. I called the toll free number and finally got to talk to somebody after 10 minutes. He. I asked him what kind of credit card company they were and he said a chex card company. I explained to him that I was told twice that this was an unsecure credit card and I wanted a refund because there card was falsley represented. He told me to hold and he would play back the recording. He played it back and after hearing me told that there card was an unsecure credit card he tried to tell me a unsecure card is a card you have to pay into to get a balance and an secure card is a card that gives you a credit limit without paying into it first so I would not be refunded because the card was not represented. We argued about this for about 10 minutes and he finally said I could not be refunded because I had a verbal contract. I know the difference between a secure card and unsecure card and this is definitely not an unsecure card with a 2000 credit limit. This company is a SCAM. They got me for $10 but have not withdrawn the $200 yet. I am going to the bank first thing in the morning and putting a stop payment on the electronic check and a freeze from them electronically withdrawing $ from my account. I recommend the same to everyone who has encountered this company. I also reccomend everybody who has been scammed by this company to contact the better business bureau and Florida attorney generalJasonPortland, Maine
