Ripoff prevaricators theives missrepresent Shylock irresponsible Gadiantons

Countrywide Home Loans is the servicer of our home loan and for a company that is sooo good to it's customers, didn't notify us for 2.5mos.

When they did, it was by phone. They wanted to know "Why haven't you been paying us?". I replied that I didn't know who they were and why should I pay them anything? The rep. Told me that they were servicing our mortgage and they were going to foreclose on us.

After some questions, I found out that they were sending the statements to our old rental address. The reps. Response was that that wasn't their fault and we should have paid them anyway. Huh? How am I to pay them when I have no idea who to pay. Our previous servicer told us that they were no longer going to do so, Not to send any more payments, and that the new servicer would contact us.

So began our troubles with Countrywide.

We aranged to make a double payment when our Taxes came in Jan.

We were told that this would be Ok. We sent the check with the proof of our property Taxes being paid and though that everything was Ok. Little did we know that they held our check for over 2 weeks even though they had processed it for deposit and then their collection department contacted us. They were now forclosing on us and had sent the check back.

Everything we've done with them has been over the phone. They have not sent any of the notices that they said they would except from their Lawyer notifing us that we were in foreclosure.

We went through their workout department and paid and extra $800. Over four months to appease them. They called us on Friday, Jul. 31, and told us that they were changing the due date of our payment to the first of the month and that if we didn't make our Aug. Payment by closing on Mon. That we would be put back into foreclosure.

Now, we called the State Financial department and get them involved. The foreclosure is stopped until they can get all the facts and Countrywide has to respond.

Their response is that none of this is still their fault, and then the respondent proceeds to fabricate a list of Seven Lies and distortions of the facts, indicating why they are not responsible and that this is our fault and they are justified is stealing our home.

Do Not belive that Countrywide is an ethical company. I have personally visisted with a Lawyer and two Foreclosure specialists, and they all get the majority of their business from dealing with Lawsuits and people needing help in dealing with Countrywide.

There needs to be a Law protecting home buyers from the blood sucking parasites of Countrywide who are unethical, immoral, and only care to make money from those they abuse.

Do not listen to the Paid Lackey's of Countrywide who try to protect their name. They get their money sending innocents to this depraved company, and the more they send to them the more they get back. All at the cost of the home buyer.
