Identity Theft/Credit Card fraud! Ripoff!

Aparently I fell prey to part of this ripoff. Same offer as the others. $2000 credit line, 0% interest for 3 years, in the neighbourhood of 8% after that, etc.

They went through the address verification and personal information with me, and like a moron i gave them my SSN, (unlike other reports i've read, they DID NOT ask for my drivers license nbr.).

When it came down for them to ask for my checking acct information i asked them "why dont you bill it to the credit card like other companies do?" there was a hesitated response having to do with wanting to verify financial obligation or something like that.

I then gathered as much information as i could, ended the call, and did a google search and found this. The person i spoke with called herself "Maggie" and said her extension was 2000. She spoke with what sounded like an asian accent if that means anything.

I would also like to mention that i recieved a similar sounding offer, only having to do with student loans a couple weeks ago and i think it might be related. The offer was up to $12,500 and some other info and i think they required something like $50 or $75 for an "information packet" to be sent in the mail (the dollar amount might have been larger).

I asked them to call me when i wasn't at work (i was on my cell phone) and i havent heard from them since, or so i thought until now.
