Credit card scam Ripoff

Spectra Financial Serivces, like all other credit card scams, called me to let me know that I was approved for a $2000 credit card. Since this is not the first time that I have hear this kind of thing, I started to ask questions: Who is the issuing bank? They said it would be a major US bank but don't quite know which one. Have you run my credit? They said "no" but guarantee that I would get a card. Can you send me the information in the mail? They said "no" because this is a 10 day special and by the time I got the info in the mail the special would be gone!!! Don't fall for scams like this that try to get you to give them your account information over the phone. All that will happen is you will get a charge to your account for about $250-300 and you will never get a credit card or any of the benefits they tell you about. If you get a call like this, file a report, and spread the word!!!
