Ripoff Credit Card Scam and Bank Account Ripoff

I got a call on my cell phone on 2/23 about 12:45 pm. The lady said she got my number from a credit card application online. She was just calling to verify the mailing address, SSN, DOB, and DL number. She also wanted a bank account number so she could debit my account for $248.00. I said I didn't have that information available at that time and to call me back at 1:00 tomorrow. Something seemed strange! I then Googled the name. I was shocked at what I found. I dug a little deeper and found vaious ripoff articles about this so-called Company. I then called the customer service number (1-866-202-5077) and the number from my caller ID (888-247-9280). The customer service number answers, but the voice only says, "You have reached customer service." What happened to, "You have reached Spectra Financial Benefits customer service?" The second number was for someone mailbox. The name cannot be distinguished. Therefore, beware of Spectra Financial Benefits and don't give any personal information. Just tell the person not to call you again, then hangup.
