Ripoff Rude VERY unprofessional and not willing to listen to you Minneapolis Minnesota

I had a Capital One account that had gone delinquent due to financial difficulties. My fault, I know. I contacted a consumer credit counseling service to help me out. Next thing I know, I am getting SEVERAL calls per day. I don't know how Allied Interstate got my cell phone number but they did and started calling me on average of about 6 times a day on my cell phone and about 6 times per day on my home phone. Everytime it was a lengthy recording by a woman going by the name of Joan Baker. I work fulltime and was forced to put my phone on silent so my co-workers wouldnt hear my cell phone going off several times per day.

I had finally gotten sick of it and called them and asked them to please delete my cell # from their list, and they could call me at home. The woman started yelling at me and told me that she will NOT remove the number and she will call as many times as she'd like. I told her that I had made a payment to the credit counselor, who will be getting in touch with them, and she said they will NOT accept the payment and that they needed it in full and they won't work with me. I finally had to hang up on her because she wouldnt let me talk! I called back and spoke with a supervisor. (who SAID my cell phone # was removed, even though I am STILL receiving calls!) He was the same way! He actually told me that they won't accept my payments and even told me that I should just get bankruptcy papers started because that's the only way I am going to get anywhere. I finally politely said "thank you for your time" and hung up on him, since he was the same way. I don't know what my options are. Now I am getting calls on my cell phone about 7-10 times per day. They are so very rude to people and they are a class-action lawsuit waiting to happen, due to their unfair collection tactics.
