Harassing phone calls daily, 2-3 times per day Ripoff

Allied Interstate has made calls to my cell phone 2-3 times every weekday since last August. There is no person on the phone - just a message asking me to call back to 1-866-577-3912. Calls to this number are frustrating because they do not have any record of my cell phone number. I have spoken with a number of representatives, some who are helpful and some who are demanding and rude. I have asked repeatedly to speak with a supervisor, only to have to repeat my entire scenario to the representative before being transferred to a supervisor. The supervisors have no clue why I am being called and their only suggestion is to call my phone company.

I have called the phone company and their suggestion is to change my number (which I have had for over 7 years) - for a fee of $35.00! When I called Allied Interstate back, asked to speak to a supervisor again, I had to go through the whole scenario again, only this time the rep demanded my social security number. When I refused to give it to him, he disconnected the call. I called back again, again requested a supervisor, again went through the entire scenario before being transferred to a supervisor who again told me there was nothing that could be done because they still ad no record of my phone number.

After numerous calls, I was finally given to a Micahel Faust who claimed to be the VP of Operations. He first told me there was nothing that could be done, but when I told him I would contact my attorney, he relented and said he would turn it over to their computer technicians who would have to go through over 34 million phone numbers in order to attempt to locate my number and delete it. But he assured me that from that day forward (July 3), I would NEVER receive another call from Allied. However, on July 5, I received another call. As of today (July 6), I have not had any calls, but I am not holding my breath that the calls have ended either.
