Running up my cell phone bill with endless calls and I am not even who they are looking for. I am really tired of it. Ripoff

The calls started a few weeks ago, the number came across on my cell phone as No ID. My husband has friends that live out of town so he thought it could be one of them. However when he answered the phone no one said anything he so hung up.

About 30 minutes later they called back, again no one said anything. Keep in mind that this is a cell phone and they can get expensive. We got two more calles that particular day. I was getting aggrivated at this point.

The next day we received 3 calls from the no id number, on the second call a recording picked up and gave an 800 number and a placement ID number. I called them and they asked me if I was a Carolyn Williams. I told them no and that I did not know anyone by that name and they needed to remove my number from there calling list.

Well that did not do any good b/c over the next week and a half we continued to get calls. It started to get rediculous, we were getting calls at all hours, even in the middle of the night. Each time they would call I would call and make the same request of taking us off their list.

I really and truly do not belive the person I talked to did it. I could not understand but maybe 3 words that he said. He was definatly a foreigner like all the others that work there. This last time I was tired of dealing with it so I let my husband call and they told him the same thing "we assure you that you are off the list" I am so tired of hearing that.

I don't know what to do, it is getting out of hand and something needs to be done about the endless calls. One more thing, these comapanies need to get people who can speak english, not foreigners that they have traind to speak a few words.
