Fundamental Consumer Strategies were an major ripoff

I was called at my home in early October. An gentleman called me saying I just got approved for an credit card, with an $2,000.00 limit on it. He also mentioned that an amount of $299.00 would have to be debited out my account as soon as possible. They also said that the card would take up to 30 days to be received in the mail. They debited the money out of my account on October 19.

When I didn't receive the card, after the November 19, I started to get worried. So, I kept calling the number everyday constently. I always got an busy signal or got an customer service representative that was very mean and kept telling that the credit card was coming. I called earlier in December and they said that people called complaining about not getting the credit card and they were reporting this.

I got an package in the mail, the week of Christmas. When I received the package, it was already opened. All it had was an book and different brochures. But, it didn't have the credit card. I'm so angry and disappointed about this situation. I was excited and depending on that credit for moving expenses and Christmas items for my children.

From now on, I will never apply for an credit card, especially accept anything over the phone again. It's hard when you're depending on money. I hope the people that did this will get what they deserve and get put in jail for an long time. They have got people's personal information and done anything with it. Now, I don't know who has my information now. We have to stop things like this from happening.
