Paypal is run by insensitive computers

I have spent about 5 hours trying to open a paypal accunt but they say i aready have one. I know i have not used it in years and it has been dormant but they keep stonewalling me with their fancy sites and my numerous requests to just speak to someone to help me are totally ignored. First they say i am registered under my e-mail but then do not acknowleged the same e-mail address. All their responses ar computer generated and i cannot get ay help. Why are people s happy with paypal because i am certainly not!!!
