I placed an order for $99. Of product on 12/1/10. I was told that the order would be processed in 1 to 2 days and with my promotional code, I would receive free UPS shipping. It appears that my order was not processed in a timely manner, due to delays (Black Friday and Cyber Monday, per the Origins representative). Apparently, they didn't feel it was necessary to tell customers they were overwhelmed and were unable to process and meet order placement/shipments. Not receiving shipment notice, I called on 12/4 and was assured that with the 'holiday' rush that they would be shipping all orders UPS 2nd day on Monday, 12/6. The person I spoke with said she would make sure this happened and follow up with her supervisor. Again, not receiving shipment notification on Monday, 12/6, I called back on 12/7 to follow up. The person I spoke with provided a UPS tracking number and said there was no delivery date and the service was "BASIC". I asked what that means and she said she didn't know. A quick Google let me know that UPS Basic is UPS Ground to USPS and that the delivery time frame is 2-6 days - SO MUCH FOR 2ND DAY... I called back and spoke with a supervisor, who assured me my products would be delivered by Friday, 12/10, even though she couldn't confirm that information by my tracking number. I am completely baffled at how unprepared Origins.com was for the 'rush' and very disappointed at the lack of communication - not very proactive - and the inability to follow through on their commitment to expedite my order. At this point, I have little hope of receiving my order by Friday... Let the buyer beware...
