Pinellas Park Super Walmart Customer Service Issues

During my recent shopping experience to the Super Walmart off US19 I was treated disrespectfully by the cashier who checked me out. As my boyfriend and I loaded our purchases onto the conveyor belt I listed to the older woman working the register have a full conversation with the two women in line ahead of us. I remember it vividly because they were speaking about the amount of cat and dog supplies and rescue animals (a topic I hold near and dear to my heart after rescuing two of my own dogs). After they'd collected their things she began to ring us up and did so in complete silence. Neither of us was acknowledged or looked at during the whole minute to minute and a half process except for the terse "thank you for shopping at Walmart" that we got after leaving. As someone who deals with the general public for a living I know first hand the importance of putting aside my own beliefs. It was a small but hurtful gesture that she refused to greet us presumably for being gay. I'd think that as their cashier are the people "on the front lines" so to speak, there would be some sensitivity training involved with their jobs but I could be wrong. My general impression of Walmart is that of a company who is too big to care and was only solidified by the customer service manager that we spoke to afterwards who blew us off.
