Do not trust this company! - Direct TV Satellite Service

I was a Direct TV subscriber for about 15 years. I was loyal and always paid my bills on time. Every time I called them to ask a question they made reference to the fact that I was ranked in their system as one of their top customers based on how long I carried their service and paid my bills. However, when I recived a job transfer and had to rent a home in another city for 1 year while I was selling my other home, they would not let me out of my contract (even temporarily). The owner of the home I was renting had cable and did not want a dish anywhere on his property. I respected this request, but Direct TV did not have my back when I needed them most. I was a model customer and they made me pay $500 to get out of my contract. CROOKS! Thankless! Do not sign up with them, as in the end they do not care one bit about their customers and will not even bend to help you when you need it. Don't think this will happen to you, noether did I, so think again! These days you can get TV service from other companies on a month to month basis with no penalties. Get out of the 90's Direct TV. Your days are numbered!
