From Day 1 (July 27th) I have regretted my decision to switch to DirecTV. They have lied to me, over-billed me, and disrespected me WAY too many times to count. Customer Service is a joke. When I originally signed up for my most BASIC package&it was costing $34.99—but that's only if you have an old school TV (not HD) and you don't want a DVR. If you have a new, HD tv you automatically have to pay an additional $10 every month for "HD ACCESS" and $7 for the DVR and $6 for something else... Coming to a grand total (before taxes) of $63.98. A one-person household. I can't imagine what it's like to have more than a few tv's in the house. I'm also locked in to their "service"—so if I try to get out within the 2 years I have to pay thousands of dollars. So I will just keep spreading the word about how horrible this company is until my 2 years is up.
