I adopted my 3-year-old son from foster care and he receives WIC coupons. I attempted to purchase a bottle of Welch's white grape juice. It was a bonus bottle, so instead of the usual 64 ounces, it had 50% more free, making it a 96 ounce bottle. The cashiertried to ring it up but she couldn't. She said to go back and get a less expensive one. I go back, and right on the shelf is the sign that says it is a WIC item! I go back to explain this to the cashier. She called the CSM, who is agitated. She says this is WIC, you can't get 96 ounces. I said, yes, but 32 ounces are free! When WIC cereals are BOGO free, you get 2 boxes. I was calm, while trying to make my point. The CSM said" Well you shouldn't have." Then she made a remark about me trying to get a "free ride". How rude. I then asked the cashier to give me back my son's coupon! This was in Ormond Beach, Fl@ S.R. 40. The cashier was Deb @ register 11. I didn't get the name of the rude CSM, who had the nerve to tell me if I wanted the bonus bottle I should buy it myself! Every time I try to click on the red sad face it said please improve, rate again!
