Never in a million years would I recommend anyone to use Direct TV. Absolutely horrible customer service. I called to ask why I had an outstanding balance on my account and they would not let me speak to anyone UNTIL I paid the account. I had to pretend I was ordering new service to speak with an actual person! I cancelled my service early (I thought it was a 12 month contract, not 2 year - read fine print very, very carefully) and hit with outrageous fines. They had sent me this "recovery" kit to send back my receiver, and the carrier loses it in the mail. Even though on the instruction sheet they say to deliver it to the USPS, they REALLY transfer it to FedEx as their carrier. "FedEx" loses my package and according to Direct TV's supervising managers I am still responsible for FedEX losing the receiver and coughing up $200 to replace it. They even tried to SELL ME more products and services when I made it clear I had left them VERY upset at the way they treat customers! Unreal. Buyer Beware.
