What a joke. I have spent 8 total hours on the telephone trying to buy direct tv service. WHAT A RUN AROUND!!! Finally I get the new access card (that cost me an extra $20) for the receiver and try to get activated. Low and BEHOLD—THE CARD EXPIRES IN 9 DAYS FROM DAY YOU ORDER IT! What does their rep tell me on the phone—you have to buy another card for 20 bucks and start over from the beginning! SO—DISH NETWORK—here I come! By the way - I'm not some kid—I'm 63, own my own company and wanted this thing for my motorhome while I am traveling the USA.
