I cancelled my directv service early and received a bill for 350 dollars, which i was prepared for. BUT about two weeks after this I saw an automatic draft from my credit card account of 707$ that I had received no notice or bill about either by mail or telephone. I was then informed over the phone that I had apparently "agreed" to having something like this happen when I signed up for Directv. The service is not worth it. Your bill gets jacked up at least double after the first 6 months and they continually do things on your account (automatically renew your contract, take out random charges, cut off with no notice) without keeping you in the loop on anything. Waking up to a maxed out credit card for a service i no longer use is a terrible way to start a day.
