Dish Network Hopper and Joey

I recently had a Hopper and Joey installed looking forward to the Hopper being able to record 6 things at once. I tried to watch TV from the Joey and couldn't because the hopper was recording 2 shows and watching another. Where was my 3 other recording capabilities? After 3 calls to Dish I was told 4 of the 6 recorders are devoted to Prime time recording of ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX and that cannot be changed. Also about 40 percent of the storage was devoted to Prime time recording. Three more calls to Dish and they cannot understand that I don't want 4 channels of Prime time recording. They suggested that I will love this feature during the superbowl. What they don't get is that I can receive all "prime time" channels via the aerial on my roof, why would I pay for them? Anyway there is NO talking to Dish, if I want two independant DVR's, I have to pay for them. Don't get a hopper if you choose to record more than two things outside of the Primetime shows. I think this is a dumb marketing idea.
