Pass the plate

How come that the commercial in US disney channel "pass the plate" featured countries that not much have kids population in US where their parents came from or their roots. Mexican/american kids should be represented (not brazil) and Philippines (not Laos or vietnam) since Filipinos is the largest asian immigrants in the US. We are so proud of our roots and we want filipino/american kids and others to discover it...
