Company won't fix their service without service charge

I started support significantly less than six months before and also have been happy before last week. Our HDTV support has ceased operating completely (I actually donot understand if it had been associated with the program download Directv submitted, however it occurred at around that point). Today Directv customer support individuals advise me that I've 2 options: 1. Spend $50 for anyone to emerge to repair your support, or 2. Purchase a guarantee ON THE gear. Before I consider both of these choices, I'll option alternative 3. Remove Directv support and return to Comcast where I was never billed for support calls and wherever I was usually acknowledged back for period that support was not functioning completely (that we never needed to keep these things do).

I did read balances the same as this online before obtaining their support and that I did not think they may be accurate. Till that one poor encounter, I'd been happy using their installment technology who had been completely skilled and cautious, pleased with their exemplary HD-DVR (a lot better than Comcastis), and pleased with the support. It simply would go to display how significantly poor customer support and costs will receive a business.

I'll resort to reading and/or speaking with my spouse before spending their absurd costs.
