My name is Carol Slusser, my Mother's name (Helen Slusser). We had a checking acct.in both of our names that our Time Warner payment came out of. Recently my Mother passed away. I called Time Warner customer service to let them know that I needed to change the account that the payment would be coming out of, nothing else would be changing but the checking account would be changing to my own personal acct and I would be closing my joint acct. With my Mother. I was told that I needed to bring my Mother's death certificate to their Batavia office in order to do this. I went to the Batavia office and gave them the new checking acct. I agreed at that time to have the next payment to be taken from our joint (March) and Aprils payment to be taken from my personal acct. Yesterday, I received a bill for $218.22. I called and talked to a customer service rep and tried to explain that March payment was taken from our joint acct. For $136.42 on March 11th and she would not listen, so I asked to speak to a manager, ut was told that there only supervisors. The supervisors are worse that your customer service reps. They refused to listen, I was told that there was no payment taken form the joint acct. Which I told them to check with the bank. (a payment was taken on 3-11-13) I was stillo told that I owed them money. I called Frontier and changed services. We were good customers but I had to discountiue service with your company because the wanted to charge me for services that I didn't owe. I told them I would not pay for this bill and to take both checting acct. From auto pay. Please check to make sure this was done, since your company has no legal right to use either of these accts. You should kee p closer track of your employees - because they will lose more good customers if you don't. Please make sure my palyment is refunded to me.
