I recently stayed at the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas on 08/25, my friend and I have stayed at lots of hotels and made many reservations through Expedia. I wanted to give my friend a really nice experience as her brother in-law just died, so I booked a more expensive hotel than I usually would book. This hotel was not a 5 star or even 4 it was about a 3 in my experience. From the Check-in desk which seemed unorganized as there was no system to select the next guest in line, to the rooms and bathrooms which seemed shabby and old and then we woke up with bites on our ankles. I think this hotel should be priced at $69 per night as that was the quality that it was. I would not stay there ever again. I would like a refund to my credit card for this awful hotel experience. I have never asked for a hotel refund before as usually you get what you pay for, I did also contact the hotel and they refunded the resort fee to my card and said that they would have the room tested for bugs.
