Return Flight Cancelled on Round-Trip Ticket Already Paid For

Horrible customer service... Missed an outgoing flight hopped on another airline and got to Vegas. I only assumed I had my Spirit Airline flight to come home but they CANCELLED it!!! I had already paid for a return flight! They said that is their policy and there was nothing they could do about it. There is not another airline out there that would cancel a second leg of a flight just cause you missed the first leg, is there? Had to pay for another ticket... Fly with someone besides Spirit. Not only can you not understand the customer service rep, you have to wait for at least 25 mins to get through. Terrible, terrible.
