TRAIN TRIP - Amtrak

We recently just got back from a trip to portland maine, on the cardinal, we enjoyed the sleeper, but not the food on the coach, terrible sausage and did not have hardly anything available for dinner. We also coming back to lafayette, in the engineer over shot the drop off, had to carry bags quite a ways, the porter had to call him and tell him to wait, not to mention that we were 1 1/2 hrs late, like i said the other trips were great, but this really burned us out. Don, t think will travel on train for now. I do want to tell you that the porter (delisa, and tyree) were great and very helpful.
