Failure to refund charges

Reserved space at Golden Nugget (Vegas) for 2 evenings through hotels.com on November 6. Discovered I really could not create the journey; named to stop reservation Dec. 8. Published type exhibits reservation ended that evening and guarantees reimbursement ($199.82) inside a maximum of 2 weeks. Charge card record exhibits cost charged by hotels.com Dec. 6. No more exercise (no reimbursement). Jan. 19, I approached hotels.com to inquire about reimbursement. After being positioned on "maintain" many times (to "check assets" and "contact the resort") the reimbursement was guaranteed to become prepared within 72 hours. At-one stage, the broker questioned me the main reason I'd ended. I informed her which was none of her company and had no showing about the guaranteed reimbursement. After I requested "why?" the reimbursement wasn't prepared as guaranteed, she constantly skirted the issue by accusing a "program issue." I'd feel long and difficult about employing hotels.com again. First, I don't experience it's suitable to cost an entire reservation charge to 1is charge card instantly (Orbitz does this, aswell). When you have created a reservation to get a prolonged stay, perhaps you are charged countless bucks significantly in front of your visit. Next, it's apparent hotels.com doesn't follow-through on its guarantees of the return. As the declaration supplied states, "All discounts will soon be designed to your charge card within 2 weeks" that, in cases like this, was a rest. The very fact I'd to invest over a half hour about the phone to get still another guarantee of my reimbursement shows that very well.
