The scam was exactly the same as these others I am reading. The agent at Travel By Owner (TBO) Properties is very nice and builds your trust with the fact that there is no money up-front. You will want to trust them after the 'buyer' has put money down (they even let me call and speak to the buyer!) and only then requested the $1,480 as 'advertising' to close the sale. Please do not be fooled by these people like I was!
