Customer Service Sucks - Roundtrip Airline Flight

I was looking to book an interisland flight for 3 people (myself and my 2 children). When I logged on to my Hawaiian Airlines account I noticed an 25% discount available for any interisland flight. It was a one time use and good for a year. So I called Hawaiian Airlines to ask if this special was good only for 1 or more people. They mentioned it was only for 1 person. Which was fine. Next I logged on to my 2 children Hawaiian Airline account to see if this discount was available to them as well. Sure enought it was. I was stoked! I needed to verify some dates, so I waited a day to finally book our flights. The next day I logged back on but for some reason the discount was no longer available. I called Hawaiian Airlines again to see what had happened. They informed me it was a system error. Apparently those discounts are given to those who has booked a coach plus seat to the mainland. I mentioned that my boyfriend did book a mainland flight recently. We had planned a mainland trip for September. She asked for the confirmation number so she could verify. She then mentioned the seats bought were not coach plus seats and that it was an error in their system. I then asked her if she would still honor it or give me some sort of compensation due to it being their mistake. False Advertising is illegal! I mentioned if I had booked the flights the day before they would have honored it. She said there was nothing she could do about it. I've worked in the service industry for many years. The company I work for would have honored it in a heart beat, especially knowing it was an honest error made by the company. It's doing the right thing. That's having INTEGRITY!
