Holiday put me in different room and charged my credit card before my stay

When i booked the room the saturday before my stay i emphasized this was for the ohio state game at 12:00pm. When we went they didnt have a room available and put us in a smoking room and we do not smoke. I also was told for 6.00 dollars more i could cancel my room and receive full refund. My husband stated that severald days after i booked our room they ran the charge thru on our credit card. We have gone to this facility for the past 5 years for ohio state games and this year was a terrible experience and the rate was so much higher, will never go to this facility and think we should receive some kind of compensation.
