Questionable - Yahoo Travel

We think we were booked for a vacation to Puerto Vallarta leaving Sacramento in 5-21-10 thru 5-30-10, staying at Casa dona Susana. We received an e-mail stating our flights changed to depart almost 24 later then planned and also from a 12 hour flight to 24 hour overnight in Guadalajara flight and are return flight had also changed to leave P.V. Earlier. When we called YahooTravel we were told we had to straighten that out directly with the airlines ourselves. We wanted to upgrade our room to a balcony room and then could not use our confirmation number that was e-mailed to use on their automated system. So although the prices advertised are almost too good to be true. Maybe they are too good to be true. Has anyone else experienced these issues with booking flights and hotels thru the Yahoo travel link? I really thought Yahoo lending it's name to the travel site with be a safe bet. Only time will tell. Oh and btw... The only thing that is for sure are the charges on our credit card statement.
