Water's Edge Resort & Spa offers all of those amenities to the timeshare owners and more. For our guests looking to enjoy Water's Edge Resort and Spa on a year-round basis* vacation membership is available and offers real vacation, recreation and exclusive club value. Our Vacation Club members have use of resort facilities* in addition to a weeks residence on property,
Vacation membership benefits include use of the health club*, private beach*, tennis courts*, indoor and outdoor pools*, whirlpools steam and sauna rooms. During the summer months, daily activities are offered for children.
So its says time share owner have the same amenities as the hotel guests, Wrong, now theye tell us we need to call ahead to make a reservation on Thursday or Friday to use the beach on Saturday or Sunday. They claim to have sent out a letter alerting us of such but everyone I talked with never recieved such a letter. They probably never sent it because they knew how all the time share owners would react, badly just like me.
The only reason we bought the time share was because we wanted to use the beach when we wanted to. Now we have to make a resevation first, how are we suppose to know days ahead what the weather will be like? The weathermen can't do it and they are porfessionals.
We certainy did not pay money for the timeshare plus $900 a year in maintenance feels for the 1 week stay at their condo's that are dirty and have very uncofortable Matreses and pillows that are as flat as pancakes. They claim to be a four star resort, but I have had nicer rooms at a Marriot Resident Inn for $85 a night. And we certainly did not do if for their tiny little gym or the indoor pool that is so dirty most of the time it will make you gag if you were googles you won't want to go in it again.
So with all this being said all of us timeshare members need to start a class action suit against this resort. At least we need to picket them, stop eating at their restraunts and tell everyone we know not to give them any business, let's show them they can't push us around, we are Owners, and should have more rights that someone who stays in their hotel overnight.
I will post this on my facebook and I will put a yahoo ad up in a couple days titled
