Legends Resort And Country Club
Going downhill fast and still wants to get paid! McAfee New Jersey

Traveling & Tourism

7 years ago my husband and I purchasd a timeshare at the Legends Resort and Country Club. Legends was in the process of renovating the establishment, including the addition of a 2 story spa. Since the location was close enough to drive to, and buying a timeshare there would entitle us to a membership to the country club, we decided to buy with the intention of trading our Gold Crown week with a vacation exchange company (RCI).

Over the last 7 years no real refurbishment has taken place and things seem to have taken a turn for the worse. I have recently lost my time share trading privledges with RCI as there are "issues" at the resort as reported to RCI. The resort has not responded to my calls requesting informaiton as to when I will regain my trading privledges or when all the promised resort upgrades will be made. Additionally, I recently received my annual dues bill!

I have tried to find informaiton as to what their obligation is to the time share owners, however I have not been able to acquire this informaiton. I have to believe that they are obligated under the law to either inform me of meetings or updates. To date, the only contact I receive from the resort is my annual bill.
