All is not bliss in Xanadu-Timeshare claims fraudulent

We enjoyed a relaxing vacation at Xanadu but fell for a timeshare scam that ruined our opinion of the resort.

We already owned a timeshare and were using our points to stay at the Xanadu Beach Resort. All was well until we attended a sales pitch. We were told we could switch our time share from the one we currently owned to the Xanadu. They would purchases our Las Vegas time shareand sell us their timeshare for the same amount. It would cost us nothing... They said.

Now ten months later we have had to pay a $1,000 deposit, a $1700 payment to a credit card and $324 monthly payments twoards their timeshare. We have paid over $5000. We have tried to contact them. They do not return phone calls and also have sent registered letters to the owner, the sales office and to customer services. Still NOTHING.

Stay away. No beach is worth being taken.
