Cleanliness and utter disregard for service

Checked in Friday. May 28th for two night stay. Spoke with desk staff re. Cleanliness of room. Soiled face towel draped over shower curtain rod, crusted excrement on inside of toilet bowl, crusted crud on douvet, rigidity of mattress, broken [botom right] box spring corner guard protruding some 4 - 5 inches waiting to skewer some unsuspecting leg, Timex flushing system [the damn thing just kept on running] and a sleepless night on a hard mattress. Spoke with front desk staf several times. Maid service occured some time Sat. But upon returning to the room that night needing a bath or shower only to find that damn face towel still there and nothing else looked into we packed up and checked out never to return. We are both seniors and have spent many nights in Hotels, Motels, Inns, Bed and Breakfasts but without a doubt the service at this one was despicable. I'm surprised however that the charge for the second night was waived. This however will not change my mind about returning.
