Unnecessary hygenic conditions

Upon checking in late Friday my wife brought to my attention a soiled/used face cloth draped over the shower curtain rod. The bottom right corner of the douvet supported a crusted patch of crud which never was discerned as to it's real origin. Upon retiring for the night it was was found that our mattress yeilded little comfort because of it's rigid state. Consequently we began the new day somewhat ragged. Several requests to have the matters looked into fell on deaf ears. As a result we checked out late Saturday not being able to face another night of tourture. We arrived home and headed straight for the shower. So the chance of us ever using this hotel chain again is non-existant. One should put more concern into who ir running your hotels. I am a senior with a noticeable handicap. But why would you care about that?
