I recently had the enjoyment of going for a 3-day Mexico Cruse – and loved 98% of my very first time Circus holiday experience.
I'm writing to solve a check in issue — that nearly destroyed my holiday.
At this time, I'd like somebody in the Organization to contact me or create – and possibly inform me the scenario wasn't managed nicely from the on duty check in individual, which some actions is likely to be taken up to guarantee that others don't obtain similar treatment. Or, that somehow I misunderstood the check in procedure – which means this won't be repeated on my next cruse.
Some tips about what occurred:
I reached the Long Beach check in Entrance at roughly 3PM and offered my Visitor Verification to an African-America lady (Boss, perhaps Olga?). She mentioned that she didn't identify the Scheduling Quantity, which I'd need to contact the initial Scheduling Agent (Circus) to obtain a good number.
I advised her that I'd quit my mobile phone in the home for that holiday, and requested her to check on in her pc to confirm my Reservation, or contact the Scheduling Office.
She stated “no.” that I'd need to wander with baggage about 3 blocks towards the closest pay-phone. Coming to the pay-phone, I named the Carnival Broker – who established the Scheduling Quantity (53MD14) was appropriate.
I then went back towards the Check In Entrance and talked with Olga again. After informing her the Carnival Booking Agent I called (3 blocks away) established my Reservation Booking Quantity, I'd to firmly DEMAND she contact the Scheduling Workplace so she may also verify the Amount, and examine me in.
She LASTLY named as well as in 60 seconds established the number, and got me inside towards the Ticket Office.
At that time, a Mrs. Ortiz served me finish the Check In. She was fantastic, apologizing for my trouble and ensuring anything was currently proper for me personally to obtain onboard. She was fantastic
Until I've misunderstood procedure, atleast 3 errors were created:
1. At unique Check In, Boss Olga wouldn't lookup my Scheduling Quantity, or contact the Solution/Scheduling Workplace, requiring my Visitor Verification as invalid. She didn't get me really.
2. She questioned me to wander 3 blocks to some pay phone with baggage, in the place of instantly managing it in the Check In entrance or getting me to admission office, or permitting me to make use of her location telephone.
3. When everything was solved, she provided no apology for what I observe as her error – and confirmed deficiencies in problemsolving capability.
Again, I simply need a phone or published reaction from Carnival – from somebody who knows the Check In Procedure – to guarantee this doesn't occur again., particularly to first time cruisers.
