Direct Air
Direct Air of Myrtle Beach I was ripped off and lied to by Direct Air. I would never use them unless you want to miss your flight and not go on vacation

I booked 2 round trip airline tickets through Direct Air for 07/09/09 3:15 P.M. -07/19/09 1130 P.M. I printed out my itinerary stating same. On 06/26/09 I received an email from Direct Air stating that my 07/19 flight may have been canceled and to contact them. I called them on 06/27/09 and confirmed that my flight was canceled and made other arraignments with another airline because this airline was not available which cost an additional $400.00.
On 07/09/09 my girlfriend and I showed up at the airport (Allentown) and found out that our outgoing flight was changed and left 3 hours earlier. There were no Direct Air representatives available so I spoke to an Allegiant Air representative who looked at my itinerary and called Direct Air and advised them of this. Direct Air said that they called me when it was me that called them. They also said that during the phone conversation on 06/27 they advised me about the flight change but they did not. They refused to re route us, which the Allegiant Air representative advised me there were seats available to fly into Newark and then straight to Myrtle Beach. We also would have lost our dfown paymeny for our hotel if we did not arrive on this day. We had to get different airline tickets through another airline costing an additional $1,044.00. Direct Air also advised me that they emailed me, but they did not. I called and spoke to supervisors all the way to a part owner, who was very ignorant, and all refused to help me. I advise everyone not to use this company unless you want to take the chance of missing your flight and vacation and be out of alot of money.
