Wyndham Fairfield Resorts Total Ripoff, no timeshare available for your vacation unless made 1 year in advance

We started out with Discovery and found that, with our business, we make vacation plans on the spur of the moment. We were not going to transfer our points to Fairfield, just let it be a learning lesson. However, we were enticed to go to Wyndham/Fairfield and their presentation. That's when we met Cliff Cook, one of the sweetest/slickest salesman you'll ever meet, in Branson, Mo. We told him our unique situation, being self employed, and we will travel within a week, and can't make reservations 1 or 2 or 3 months out. Cliff said there was no problem, we'd be able to do that! Not! Since we hadn't used our 308,000 Discovery points and they were rolled over into Fairfield. We've tried 5 times to make vacation reservations only to find the resorts are all full. HOWEVER, two days later we get a call that says, if we'd bring a couple with us to listen to the presentation, and give them additional $100, we can stay in the resort! Amazing. No rooms for us as owners, but rooms if we can bring them in some more money!

I've spend the past 3 days on the phone. I've found out that reservations at major resort areas are booked more than a year out, so there is no way we'd ever be able to use our points. Of course, we could sell them. That's not what I bought this for. I want to use them, when I want to go.

I'm so mad. We've now spend almost $5,000 haven't used it one time.

The saleman does say anything to sell the product. I'm going write and notify them that we are cancelling this contract. I'm sure there will be a foreclosure situation since this is supposed to be mortgage contract. I'm not giving them another red cent. I will fight this tooth and nail!
