Excessive fees

I recently needed to stop a resort reservation for this resort four weeks just before my planned stay plus they nevertheless billed me $197.29 for this. After talking with the resort director, Norma Herring, she mentioned the reservation was a unique price and non refundable and that I had been billed one days stay plus tax. I can not think that they may be permitted to grab that much cash for performing practically nothing and obtain away withit. They'dnot actually contemplate keeping the cash to become utilized on another reservation like the majority of firm's do. I submitted a problem using the greater business agency but obviously nothing been completed. I submitted a problem with Holiday Resort client relationships and all-they needed to state was it's really a resort plan nothing they are able to do about it. May they be prosecuted for this? Are their any class-action lawsuits against Holiday Inn I will participate in on?
