Carnival Cruise Line Rip-off Cruise from Hell due to negligence of captain ship hit a sand bar & was stranded thrown off ship after injury cost $20,000 more!

My son got married in Gulf shores and 11 of us from the wedding party went to New Orleans to catch the Holiday for a 5 day cruise. We were are sea the first day and pulled into Cazmul the next. During that nigh while heading appro. 10miles to Playa del Carmen we went upon a sand bar.

That put the boat on a 30% lisp. I have had a hip replacement and they did not inform anyone what had happened for hours, we were piled like sardines in the hall ways thinking we were in line to get of and go to shore.

Later that evening, as I was undressing I sit on the bed, and bent over to remove my shoes when doing so with the ship tilted so much my hip popped out of place. They put me off at Playa with my daughter, as neither one spoke spanish it was almost impossible to understand the people at the clinic I was taken to by ambulance.

They wanted to operate on me and my daughter finally was so terrified that she called critical air to have me flown home. That cost $18,602.00, and $2,700.00 at the clinic, they do not take insurance cards so my husband was called in Missouri to come up with the money quickly.

All the rest of my party was taken off the next day flown to New ORleans with lost luggage, cab fare to the port where our cars were parked, and all they offered was 25% off our next cruise. Pretty bad when 11 people paid good money to go only to have there mother thrown off and not knowing where she was until the plane called the ship and told them we were headed back home.

The Dr. Brought in 2 tyneol and said since my daughter is an RN she was taking care of me fine, but charged me $75.00 on my ship and sail card. Also, we had no running water for showers, and had to flush the toilets with buckets of water, as it had all been emptied trying to get us off the sand bar.

I have contacted an attorney and he is working on it for me. My first cruise is certianly my last!!!
