I was an employee in the Reservations Department in Dallas, TX. When my MS went into flair I went to my supervisor, and asked for a "disability chair." It had arms to help me lift up from my seat. My supervisor nastily insulted me. I sought help from her supervisor, who awarded me my chair.

A few months later the company took out 50% of the computers and brought in "the bump policy." By that time I was falling to the floor all the time, so I sought another accommodation, exemption from the bump policy. Ms Rountree got even nastier this time, she was still burning from being overruled the first time. I called the Rule 32 hotline. A hotline that was started in response to a lawsuit AA was losing in Federal Court. This hotline was supposed to allow employees to make anonymous complaints of discriminatory behavior. Yeah, right.

The day after I filed, I was hauled into the conference room and confronted by my bosses. The retaliation started that day. Every phone call monitored. My days off changed without telling me. A special person was assigned to "review" every thing I did. When I developed a health problem that needed surgery, I was actually happy. The harrassment was scaring me to death, because they were seriously conspiring to fire me every day. I filed with the EEOC, but Marlene claimed I never asked for accommodation, so the EEOC declined to help. When I got my employee file in discovery, the two complaints I made to Rule 32 Hotline were in there, to this day AA is still lying.
