American Airline's rip-off no refund policy! They should be ashamed!

I purchased two tickets for a round-trip from OKC to Norfolk on July 10. The person using the second ticket cannot now go, but AA says that for me to get a refund, the person listed on the second ticket must be dead. They will not let me use the ticket on a later date either. They offer no opportunity for me to get any value for the $425 I have already paid them. Ordinary people go to jail for less dishonesty and fair practice than this.
