Fairfield Now Wyndham Buy and Timeshare and lose points because it isn't usable ripoff

This program is for those that are retired and have a very flexible schedule. During the purchasing part of the program we were assured that as "owners" we would have priority at our "home" resort. That has never happened.

Due to our work we cannot plan vacations a year or even 3 months in advance.

We purchased points at Gov. Green in Williamsburg, Va.in 2004. We lost 265,000 points last September because we were unable to use them. At that point we also found that we were members of "Interval International" and not RCI as we had been told during the selling process. A review of the paperwork did show that (stupidly) we had not read the fine print and RCI, although mentioned many times by the sellsman (my relatives bought at the same time and they have RCI, we had Interval)

Further, when we tried to use the option of staying in a hotel at a cheaper rate, we were told that they had to have 60 days notice.

Now, we are not longer VIP members because we have lost the bonus points (the time period has expired) and with the small amt. Of points we now have. It is even more difficult to find "free days or weeks".

This is the worst investment that we have ever made! I would recommend it to no one.
