Ripoff Fairfield is now Wyndham who will rip you off

We have been Fairfield owners for well over 15 years.in general we have been happy. The only problems have been one part of the company not knowing the other part is doing. All problem have eventually been solved. Since Wyndham took over they have made changes to limit your usage and hide the changes. We have always taken any left over points at the end of the year and put them towards ou maintenance fees. This is a benifit of being Vip Gold members. Since Wyndham took over they have changed this policy to having to make this decision by Sept 30. Not only is it difficult to know this information by that early in the year, but notice of this was hidden. They say notice of this was sent to us but we got no letter. Additionally they say it is in their new book. It may be but it is buried in the fine print. We were at a resort at the end of August and talked to someone about them not using our cancelled points for our recent and up coming trips. We talked to the reservation office and got them to agree to do this. At that time we told them we wanted to do this so we could convert any left over points in December. They never mentioned anything about the change. When we found out recently about it we contacted them from a resort where we stayed last week and they refused to make any change. Now we can only bank them with RCI which will cost us more money to use them. Fairfield was always willing to work with the customers. Wyndham will not budge. Yet every time we visit a resort they try to get us to buy more points.
