Timshare scam, stay away they will ruin your creidt Freeport

The people are highly trained in fruadulant activities. They will tell you what ever ou want to hear. We were told that when purchaseing a 2 bedroom unit, undet the point system that we could stay up to 7 weeks a year with a 45 day advance notice. So of coarse we jumped on it.

When we recieved our point information in the mail 5 months after the purchase of the time share it was less that half of what we were promised. We tried several times to contact the sales agent and sales manager.
No one would contact us back. So we faxed and sent a certified letter that due to the lack of them up holding the orginal verbal agreement of our contract we would no longer be making payments towards the resort and requested our money back. Of coarse we knew we would never see that day.

But come to find out that a year later they have retained a collection agency in the states who is reporting over 36000 owed as a mortgage.

I am shocked that a company outside of the US can even put negative information on your credit report. Due to the fact they do not have to follow any of the conusmer laws we have in place to protect us in the US. This has been the worst experience I have ever encountered.
