Bait and Switch now standard on Holland American Lines
Holland American does a pre-boarding search of all luggage and confiscates all liquor found. Tax-free liquor, for in cabin consumption has been dicontinues.
All liquors are are priced at more than double the retail cost.
Example Vodka prices varied from $30 up to the high $60's.
Room Service listed three brands at $30 per bottle. On the first day out, they did not have two of the brands, on board.
On the fourth day, of an 11 day cruise, They claimed they only had the $60 brands, available
Wines were also double the normal retail price.
