Greyhound Bus
Confusing and Misleading

Traveling & Tourism

I have bought tickets for Greyhound to visit family over the Christmas holidays. I have a 7 month old son who will be traveling with me. The commercials and the website all say children under 2 ride free. However they do not tell you that for one your baby can not have luggage under the bus unless you pay for a ticket. I am very upset I am a disabled passenger on a fixed income and had they been upfront with the rules for a Baby I would be able to prepare for the extra charges. I called customer serves and they told me yes he gets a bag underneath, But when I go to pick up the ticket I was told no i have to buy a ticket for him or pay a 15 dollar fee to add a bag. I would not mind that if I had been told that before buying the tickets. If you say travel free you should include at least a bag for the baby. If not include the seat and everything It is dangerous for a baby to be in a lap in a vehicle that is why there is car seat laws. So without a car seat for a child your actually asking people to break the law. So your Children under 2 ride free is False. You have to Buy a seat for the baby to keep them safe. So i would ask you ether change you policy on Children or stop advertising that Children Ride Free cause that is a load of bull.
